Hey there, got another, and hopefully last, update of Tank before it's officially marked as completed.
Overtime, I've made sure the mines worked as they should, made the visuals themselves a bit better, and, while it's unseen, win messages for both players when the round timer is over.
(For some reason, OBS recorded it with audio issues. But when not recording they play normally however, I do not get why it's like that, but I will provide a playable link soon where the sounds are actually correctly played.)
Also yes, the shadows on the breakable walls will disappear when they're broken, and the shadows from the walls in general lay over the tank itself making it darker underneath said shadow, to make them all feel more like 3D items made of 2D sprites.
The only things I can directly think of needing to be done before posting would be adding a shadow under the player tanks, making it visually note able that the walls get broken when a mine blows up on them, and maybe adding changes to the map to make the layout itself better.
Overall, Tanks is neat. Most of my experience with this kinda game was Wii Play's own, and knowing of, but not having played, Combat on the Atari. So being able to actually try to make something like em has been an interesting process, even if I probably overdid the visuals of it a bit... a lot. I like being a presentable person in my projects, so a blessing and a fault.
After this, I get to go from making a slower moving vehicle, to making a much faster one with the game "Gran Trak 10". Picking up the pace, so to speak. I feel like getting something that can move much quicker may make it all the more enjoyable to work with, and quicker to test features with too.
