Platformer Progress - Audio and Landscape

Welcome again to more check-ins of the Moof platformer project.

The last week til now had had some good, notable differences. But starting with something more universal and important for the game, it's slowly getting audio!

It's all at LEAST a V1, not 100% finalized.. However, it's better than the endless soundless void it was being before.

Got sounds for the walking and running as two different pitter-patters, Sounds for both the jump and dive,

Sounds for the spring being used, and muffins being picked up.

There's a... few sound effects in the system at the moment I can experiment with, as it turns out, I just had SO MANY asset files for use in my itch.io account I had from bundles that included them. There's only a small fraction of those in here at the moment.

There isn't music in this level yet, working on that, however there is music tracks for other levels or features like a world map, just not at the moment for fitting this level's scenery.

Speaking of the level and it's scenery, that's another point to cover, I got a few tiles added in for the background layer and had reworked the layout of that layer exclusively to get use of them. As of now, it looks like this:

It now looks rougher, more rock like, while still not altering the level geometry itself, got a few examples in photo form too so I can show it fuller.

Less weird vertical cutoffs, more natural feeling.

Even on the sides of holes in the floors.

Sounds and ever more natural shaped land. When this level is done, every other level that will come after it will be a BREEZE, it's just the first level that is the longest for only the reason that I'm also getting every other (non-level-specific) feature made alongside it. But when they're done.. OH BOY WILL IT BE A STORM!

But that's all something I will work more on throughout the next week and further hopefully, until then, that'll be all for this post.
