With the starting path of Spacewar! having been worked into and through, this only means one thing, progress further. And what better way to do that than to move forward in history and on to Pong?
As of writing, it's not all too far in, really only got to the starting point to be honest, but already working on things like the basics of movement for the paddles, the ball is... very early build, it doesn't interact with the paddles yet but DOES move, and a work in progress background. The background itself I'm trying to go for a neon air hockey kinda look, it too is.. early, but it's gonna look much better soon, gonna be a lot more than just red and dark gray.
Dark back, neon front, like a bright neon sign is the idea.
It's only a short update, the Pong build isn't far yet, but I do like showing noteworthy progressions like visual detail and video whenever I feel there's any gameplay to show. I'll try to get a bigger update in due time.
