Tank and it's Added New Functions

Hey there, I've come to give some more updates about the Tank project, Two initial goals from last post was visuals, and adding a new feature.

Visuals are coming along nicely I want to believe, the floor is a bit more detailed, colors a bit shifted to make scenery pop out a bit more, and a separate texture for a new wall type for the new feature that'll be explained soon.

As of recently the challenge given has been to add at least one new function outside of the normal lessons. My choice was inspired from Wii Play's "Tanks" game, in it they had the ability to drop mines onto the field that would explode on their own, or when shot at they'd also explode. These mines could be used to open up pathways in the breakable walls, or to close a space off to the other player so they won't want to follow directly down your path.

Both players can do this, and the mines are color coded accordingly. However, both players can be hurt by either explosion, so the black tank can be hurt by the black mines if not careful.


I was in-between adding the bullet bounce Wii Play had too, where the bullets would bounce twice off a wall then break on the third, but didn't want to just be a Wii Play clone, so picked to just stay with the mines and made something smaller.

Considering adding tracks for visual purposes but that's a maybe.
